The set-up process is very simple, as we do it all the on boarding for you! Once you’ve signed up, you/your employees can be on your way to fitness within 1 week. However, if that’s a little too soon, you can dictate the date on which you wish to start yours or that of your employees’ health and wellbeing journey.
No. Due to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I’m afraid we are not permitted to share any personal health related data of your staff members with you or anyone else, unless their written consent is obtained.
It depends on the employer’s preferences. 1-2-1 Health Coaching can be offered as a further Employee Wellbeing Benefit, or alternatively, the employees can pay for this themselves.
Once you have successfully casted your YFN mobile app to your TV, your phone turns into a remote control for customising what you see on your big screen (how cool is that?). Switch ON the options for MY VIDEO and SHOW FRIEND’S VIDEO. Then go to the list of people attending the class and tap the video icon next to your name to see your video on TV. You may also add 4 other friends in the list to appear on the big screen with you.
One of the best features of YFN is that it’s compatible with most smartwatches and heart rate sensors that people are already using. No need to buy any proprietary hardware. We support Apple Watch, Samsung, Fitbit, and Garmin, together with Fossil / LG and others running Google’s watch OS. We also support many bluetooth and GATT-compliant heart rate straps and bands like Polar, Wahoo, Schoshe, CooSpo, etc. and will be creating a supported devices list over the coming months.
Absolutely. We do a Live Fit Test once every month, but it is recorded and uploaded to the On-Demand Library so you can do this whenever it suits you.

Your coach can see all participants with videos turned on from their Coach Dashboard. Class participants attending the session with you, both live and later for on-demand, can also see your workout video should they choose for it to appear on their screen. This was done to make the experience of working out with your community and your friends closer to an in-studio experience regardless of the time you choose to workout. There will be “friends” joining the workout with you even when doing it on-demand. Should you wish to keep your workouts private, we currently have a privacy option to NOT show data and video to others, including your coach. You may activate this from the menu. (Important: once turned on, you won’t be able to see workout videos of your friends and your coach will not be able to comment on your workouts). A future functionality wherein you can customise your friends’ list to specify who get to see your workout videos.
You may enable the Apple Health integration by allowing necessary permissions from your iPhone settings. Once enabled, this will sync any workouts done in YFN so you can track your activity and close your rings. Feel free to contact us for more help on this.
Anyone can still join the classes without a heart rate monitor. You will see other participants in the class and how they’re performing, but your own stats will remain blank and will not be ranked.
